Based in Sandiacre, Nottingham, Aspire Men’s Barbershop commissioned me to design a fresh brand identity for their newly formed business. The barbers had no previous brand before I worked with them so I was challenged with creating this identity from scratch.
The brief outlined that the brand must encapsulate the business’ youthful, positive and upbeat outlook towards life. The staff also wanted to use the final logo for digital and printed promotional materials, so whatever I designed was to be delivered with a style guide.
I designed a simple, sharp & upbeat brand identity delivered in a variety of file formats. The upwards pointing ‘A’ logomark symbolises the brand’s positive approach to life. I combined this with a modern typeface for ‘Aspire Barbershop’ to give the logo a youthful tone of voice.
